Treveth Holdings delivers new homes and commercial development for the benefit of people who live and work in Cornwall. FMS Interiors worked alongside design consultancy Studio Khid to develop the furniture package to align with the aspirations of the project and their available budget.

With sustainability at the heart of their brand ethos, Treveth wanted a new office space to reflect their values. We relished this opportunity and encouraged the use of sustainable products where possible.

The selection used with WELL standard as a guide, with the space planning allowing staff to use a variety of working solutions, which encourages movement in a comfortable and light filled environment.

The challenge
-Creating a design that could support the expansion of their team over the next 24 months
-Developing a mix of furniture settings that responds to the shift of working patterns towards hybrid working practices.
-Finding products that had a high rating for sustainability, whilst being within the client’s target budget.

The process
We worked closely with the design team from Studio Khid to create layout plans and furniture options and developed those into costed specification sheets

Results for the client
Able to house all their staff in one location and we created a showcase location or their design approach and company ethos

Lessons learnt
Working closely with the design team and client from an early stage helps us to efficiently create bespoke furniture packages that suit both the budget and aspirations of the client without the need for lengthy value engineering
